San Jose del Cabo Vacations: Things to see while on vacation in San Jose del Cabo Baja California

San Jose del Cabo is located on the southern most tip of the Baja Peninsula, just due east of Cabo San Lucas. San Jose del Cabo is the older of the two towns with an ancient heritage that extends back to the famous pirate, Sir Francis Drake. Prior to the colonization of Mexico, the Spanish Galleons docked in the bay to take advantage of the natural fresh water oasis that provided a supply of much needed water. Here you can experience old world Spain with fountains surrounded by Spanish colonial buildings; secret paseos and courtyards lined with gardens of palms and bougainvilleas.
