All our rooms offer
a private balcony or terrace, striking views of the ocean and mountains, or the garden, a unique collection of antiques and original art, a private bath (some rooms have a jetted tub or a soaker tub for two),bath robes and hairdryers, a taste of Port, a clock radio and CD player,an iron and ironing board, an umbrella and rain wear ,a stone fireplace, well-stocked with wood and kindling. During high season, a hot breakfast is served in the privacy of your room. Delicious gourmet picnic lunches are also available by request. During our quiet season, a hot breakfast is provided with picnic lunches provided on Saturdays and Sundays only.
By appointment, you may also choose to indulge in a deeply relaxing spa treatment or massage in your room. Abandon yourself to the spirit-nourishing care of our wellness professionals.
We provide rubber boots and rain jackets so you can enjoy the romantic intimacy of a stroll through our West Coast mists.
Our restaurant is open for dinner each evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please telephone ahead to ensure we are open and to reserve your table.
Our menu is written on a daily basis and is available by 5 p.m. Our menu focuses on seasonal, regional, organic seafood, meat and produce and is served with imagination and flair.
Our dining room offers 4 course set menu for $69.95 per person excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities. On holidays an extended set menu is offered. Courses may also be ordered individually to create your own personal menu if you should desire to do so.

Seaweed Tours - From May to September, explore the local waters of the Sooke Harbour with The Seaweed Lady from Outer Coast Seaweeds. Come and discover the many varieties of edible varieties living there.
Whale watching - From February to April, spot Grey whales from Botanical Beach
Golfing - The town of Sooke has one 9 hole golf course. Two world class golf courses are located within a 35 minute drive
Fishing - Sooke offers some of the best year round fishing in the world. There is excellent fresh water fishing for steelhead and trout in the winter and early spring.
Biking - The Galloping Goose Trail is an old railway that runs from Sooke to Victoria
Hiking - The Juan de Fuca Trail, East Sooke Park, and West Coast Trail meander along our wild coastline
Diving - Vancouver Island has some of the best cold water diving in the world. Charters operate from Sooke to Victoria. Winter diving offers the best visibility.
Sailing - Charters operate from Sooke and take people along the Strait of Juan de Fuca to view our pristine coastline.<br><br>Farm Tours - A local Honey Farm and Herb Farm offer educational tours April to August
Wineries - Visit a local honey winery, Tugwell Creek Honey Farm and Meadery, or one of several other wineries, located within an hours drive from the Inn.
Artists - Sooke is home to many talented artists. Several galleries keep regular hours year round or are available by appointment
Salmon Run - Every October/November thousands of Salmon return to our local rivers to spawn. There is excellent viewing from the top of the Sooke River
Eagle Spotting - In addition to our own pristine rivers, Goldstream Park, located 30 minutes from Sooke Harbour House is one of the best places for spotting wild eagles. It is not uncommon to see 25 to 50 eagles a day from November through January.
