Really amazing village (within a city) occupying a peninsula within Auckland's spectacular harbour. Anne St is one of Auckland's oldest but ours is a new house designed to blend into the heritage streetscape.
The peninsula has several fascinating walks and historic areas to explore (including the claimed arrival site of one of the original 12 maori canoes which arrived from Polynesia about 700 years ago.) Three extinct volcanic cones can be climbed easily.
