Timara Lodge, New Zealand owned and operated, is one of the country’s most luxurious and private lodges. Situated in the province of Marlborough, well known around the world for its wines and gourmet foods. Timara Lodge promises a haven of peace, quiet and relaxation.
Timara Lodge is set amongst 600 acres of land, including 25 acres of one of New Zealand's most beautiful English style gardens and a five-acre, man-made lake. Adjoining the gardens is the 350-acre Spy Valley vineyard and winery.
Timara Lodge's accommodation options compliment the overall ambience of privacy and comfort.
All rooms have picturesque views of either the magnificent gardens, stunning man-made lake, or the distant magical mountains. Choose from four charming rooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms, some with spa baths and private sitting rooms. The rooms feature fine art and antiques and the quality furnishings are modern and tasteful, instilling a sense of utter luxury, right down to the softest Italian linen.
Each bedroom is completely private and has its own en suite bathroom, as well as spectacular views of the grounds. All our air-conditioned bedrooms are fully serviced and non-smoking, the en suite bathrooms are all equipped with a hair dryer, shaver plug and heated towel rail. Bath towels, toiletries and additional towels are also provided.

Children Policy
Due to the size of the lodge, the size and configuration of the bedrooms and in consideration of guests who stay at Timara for the peace and quiet the Lodge affords, we regret we are unable to accept bookings for children under 15 years. Please note also that none of our rooms are adjoining, neither do we have the capacity for rollaway beds. Furthermore, there is a considerable area of water around the Lodge (swimming pool, stream and lake) all of which is unsupervised.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, 25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled 30 days prior to arrival. Should a cancellation be received within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the total cost will be charged for every room night cancelled.
Property Rental Deposit Required:
To confirm a reservation, we require a deposit of 25% of the cost of the total stay or a current credit card number, with expiry date, as a guarantee.
