Timara Lodge promises a haven of peace, quiet and relaxation.<br><br>Timara Lodge is set amongst 600 acres of land, including 25 acres of one of New Zealand's most beautiful English style gardens and a five-acre, man-made lake. Adjoining the gardens is the 350-acre Spy Valley vineyard and winery. <br>
Timara Lodge's accommodation options compliment the overall ambience of privacy and comfort. <br><br>All rooms have picturesque views of either the magnificent gardens, stunning man-made lake, or the distant magical mountains. Choose from four charming rooms with king beds and en suite bathrooms, some with spa baths and private sitting rooms. The rooms feature fine art and antiques and the quality furnishings are modern and tasteful, instilling a sense of utter luxury, right down to the softest Italian linen. <br><br>Each bedroom is completely private and has its own en suite bathroom, as well as spectacular views of the grounds. All our air-conditioned bedrooms are fully serviced and non-smoking, the en suite bathrooms are all equipped with a hair dryer, shaver plug and heated towel rail. Bath towels, toiletries and additional towels are also provided.<br>

Situated at the top of the South Island and in New Zealand's sunniest province, Marlborough's Timara Lodge is ideally placed to offer its guests a memorable experience.<br><br>Marlborough is endowed with a magnificent beauty, made up of stunning hills and crystal clear waterways. Townships in the immediate region include Blenheim, Seddon, Picton and Havelock.<br><br>Marlborough's central location provides a base for many wine companies and a burgeoning gourmet food industry. Visitors to the region often leave with bottles of wine from internationally renowned labels such as Spy Valley, Cloudy Bay, Montana and Hunters wines.<br><br>A little further a field, you can cruise the magnificent Marlborough Sounds waterways or walk the renowned Queen Charlotte Track experiencing native bush and bird life. For the more adventurous, you can go whale watching and swim with dolphins at nearby Kaikoura, or try fly-fishing at one of the many local rivers.<br><br>Leisure time at Timara Lodge is simply your own. Relax lazily by the pool, stroll through the beautiful gardens or play a game of tennis. Nearby, is our adjoining Spy Valley winery where you can take a tour and sample Marlborough's acclaimed Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.<br><br>Many of the other local wineries also have excellent restaurants offering lunch menus that feature the very best local produce: salmon, venison and mussels.<br><br>For the active guests, a round of golf can be played at the nearby Fairhall Golf Course. There are also a variety of private gardens and boutique olive groves to visit. Cancellation Policy for Lodge:
In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, 25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled 30 days prior to arrival. Should a cancellation be received within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the total cost will be charged for every room night cancelled.
Deposit Required for Lodge:
To confirm a reservation, we require a deposit of 25% of the cost of the total stay or a current credit card number, with expiry date, as a guarantee.
