The house is situated in La Drova, where the monks that lived at the monastery of Santa María de la Valldigna once spent their summers. The monastery has now been converted into a number of primary residences and holiday homes. Surrounded by impressive mountains, La Drova forms part of the municipality of Barx, in the district of La Safor, and lies between the mountain ranges of Buixcarró and Mondúver, approximately 400 metres above sea level.
