The historic castle is situated in the heart of Austria 1,5 hour west of Vienna and 2 hours east of Salzburg, overlooking the Danube Valley to the North and the Alps to the south. It is only 15 Minutes from the Motorway. The Castle has been the family seat of the Counts of Auersperg since 1656 and still maintains its original charm. The magnificent drawing rooms as well as the bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture.

You can book the whole Castle for your special private Party or just come and relax for a couple of days with Bed and Breakfast. We specialise in celebrations and corporate entertaining, Golf and medieval banquets...(The Castle is surrounded by 27 holes Golf). One night including breakfast for up to 50 people is 3.200 Euros. The elegant public rooms with the large salons are luxuriously comfortable. There is also a Bar, dining room, garden terraces and cellars around a stunning renaissance courtyard, private swimming area on the stream directly below the castle.
