The history of this fine Hotel dates back to 1875, when its founder opened a restaurant on top of his wine cellar. The cellar today stores 30,000 bottles of aged wine and hosts a mystical dining space for a romantic candle light dinner. Being an antique property, the Hotel proudly features paintings and artworks of historical significance, such as the prints from the Risorgimento period (1860s), and autograph by the Count of Cavour, a self-portrait of Massimo d'Azeglio, and many more.
