Albufeira Vacations: Things to see while on vacation in Albufeira Algarve

Albufeira sits along the southern coast of Portugal and noted for it's numerous blue flag beaches that beckon to a range of international tourists. The village is a combination of is a beautifully whitewashed traditional village and modern tourist facilities that take advantage of the rugged Algarve coast. From the old town centre visitors can see a lovely village, with narrow, twisting streets of whitewashed houses. And while relaxing on the beach you will be surrounded by high ochre-red colored cliffs that rise above the Albufeira bay. Albufeira is definitely a fun resort, attracting a varied mix of vacationers, from the well-heeled types to the younger, less well healed contingent. If you trek a few miles inland, you will see the countryside dotted with almond, fig, orange and pine trees and the famous decorated chimneys stand out against the ochre color of the tiled roofs.
